Rolling Meadows Courthouse

The Rolling Meadows criminal courthouse is located at 2121 Euclid Avenue in Rolling Meadows and is also called the District 3 court. Unlike the City of Chicago criminal courts, the Rolling Meadows court hears both civil and criminal matters. The Rolling Meadows courthouse hears criminal charges as minor as a speeding ticket and as serious as rape or murder as well as civil cases such as breach of contract or negligence.

If your arrest happens in the northwest suburbs in places like Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Palatine or Hoffman Estates, the case will be assigned to a Judge at the Rolling Meadows courthouse. If it’s a serious felony it could get transferred to the felony court on 26th St. in Chicago.

Like other courts, if you are scheduled to appear at the Rolling Meadows courthouse, we strongly recommend that you hire an attorney who is both an experienced criminal defense attorney as well as someone who appears regularly at that courthouse. The reason for this is simple. An attorney who already has a rapport with and a relationship with the prosecutors and judges in Rolling Meadows will more likely have a smoother experience than someone who is not familiar with a particular judge’s courtroom rules or a prosecutor’s requirements. It can only benefit you to have someone on your side who has previously dealt with the judge and prosecutor on your case. It’s not a guarantee but it can make a difference.

When we recommend a lawyer, we don’t guarantee a result, but we do what we can to increase your chances of success. Hiring a lawyer that knows the courthouse and the current Judges and prosecutors can often be the difference between winning and losing, especially when they also focus on criminal defense in Cook County.

If you have general criminal defense questions or would like a referral to an attorney that focuses on criminal defense and has a track record of success at the Rolling Meadows criminal courts, please contact us. All inquiries are free and confidential.
